First, the Apology

I’ve been gone for a very long time. I apologize profusely. I have never, once, forgotten this site, although for a while I questioned my commitment to the Sims as a whole. I’m sure you’ve heard of the recent… furor. It’s been pretty impossible to miss. I want to make one thing clear. I am not… in any way, planning to leave the EA Creator Club. I am, at heart, always a sims player. I have been since day one. I just don’t like some of the new directions the team is taking. I feel, however, that i have the right to be a Sims creator, love the game, and hate some of the things they’ve done. Namely.. the Marketplac.e. I have… very strong feelings against it. I will not be using it. EVER. I fully am boycotting the entire Marketplace and every bit of the Money-hungry Microtransactions it stands for. But while I’ve come to terms with that, I’ve also figured out… that I absolutely still adore the Sims. I believe I can continue this site, continue my challenges, and still dislilke the Marketplace and theie “Moola.”

I will, however, be retiring Sims from my TWITCH channel. Not youtube. more on that later. if you’re looking for Sims streamers, I know a good number I can suggest, including my bestie, MammaTater I will unabashedly promo her, because she’s an amazing storyteller.

Now…

The Promise

My challenges are not forgotten. In fact, they are high on my priority list. I have one thing above them on my “work” list … and that’s relaunching my Youtube channel with new series, old series, and more fun stuff. More on that later. Now, back to Sims. Sometime mid October, my focus will be switching to Sims and my challenges. The updates I have begun ARE STILL COMING.. and are first on the list of things I will be doing on this site when I get back to work on it. Starting with finishing Timeline Adventure 2.0 and Extended Not So Berry 2.0. Then I’ll be moving onto the other challenges, both existing, and FUTURE. Yes, that means I have more ideas for challenges. I’ve been faithfully keeping track of them. And they are coming. THAT.. is my PROMISE.

Now, the Teaser

I mentioned Youtube. I haven’t been posting, I know. But behind the scenes, I have been quietly working for MONTHS on a full channel re-launch. This DOES include Sims 4 content. Two of my beloved Sims 4 series will be coming back. Not on the initial launch, but they will be back. And that’s my Turner Legendary Legacy.. and my Thatcher Ultimate Decades Challenge. I will also be transitioning one of my beloved Blog stories to a full-blown story on Youtube. (Timeline Children, a spin-off of Island Spirits). What will be coming at the very beginning, however, might actually be more exciting. I am restarting my Extended Not So Berry playthrough. Only because I’m extra… I had to make it harder. And by harder.. I mean LOTS harder. I’ve called it “Chaos By Dice” .. and after some testing, I may very well publish these added rules to this website as a challenge variation. That being said, I will give no more details, but i Will show you the logo I made for it.

Exciting, huh? Well, i’ll have more teaser into on it soon, but expect to see my Youtube go live somewhere between September 21st and October 5th. That’s the window I’m shooting for. And 1-2 weeks after that.. is when I’m returning to SIMS time and website work. So if you’ve noticed something off, or something that needs working on (other than the stories, I know most of them are still missing pictures.. it’s on my list!!!) – PLEASE COMMENT on this post, and I’ll put it on a priority list!!

That being said, love you all!! I’m excited to be coming back, and I’ve already filmed two episodes of Chaos by Dice.. and holy moly is it chaotic. But super fun. I can’t wait til you all get to see it!! (and also, check out MammaTater‘s twich channel. She really is an amazing human and bestie!!!)
