As I believe I mentioned, when I started streaming, this was the challenge I started with. It’s a “test” playthrough of a challenge I wrote called the Timeline Adventure Challenge. It has been a super fun playthrough for the most part, with a lot of surprises along the way. (Like triplets in the Stone Age - that all grew up to roll fussy as toddlers…!!!) The player below has my currently uploaded VODs in a playlist of just this challenge - so if you're interested, feel free to watch! With all that being said, I will be adding more information to this page, as well as some more pictures, but doing a full page write-up on the challenge wasn’t really something on my to-do list for the site relaunch. (In other words, I’ll get to it.)

I found this challenge from a twitter post, and have never been sorry I found it. It is hands-down the hardest challenge I’ve ever done, and I am extremely proud of myself for actually completing it. I have half a mind to find another fixer-upper home and have the heir to this challenge start in on refurbishing another house sometime, but we’ll see. This challenge starts with a DISASTER of a home that is completely locked, and you make a couple of sims, a pet, and a toddler… this family must then live on the lawn while desperately trying to work on skills to unlock each room in their house in order. Three skills are required for each room, and you only have to get them to level 5 to unlock the room, which sounds easy.. But with pet(s) and a toddler, and living on the lawn - it is not easy at ALL. Add into that that the house is HAUNTED and comes with a ghost (that I decided should remain unplayed).. And you have one very crazy, very difficult challenge. Highly recommended. Rules, if you’re interested, are here. See "more" (or below) for the youtube playlist. Amazingly, I did finish this challenge, although it is not all uploaded to youtube (yet). It was SUPER fun, and I honestly might resurrect this family eventually and have the heir start on another house.

I came up with this challenge from a Random wheel challenge I found online as a way to involve chat in the sims’ lives. I wasn’t 100% happy with all the things on the wheel, though, so the wheels will need re-writing before I continue or restart this challenge. Strangely, this was also very low on the voting scale of a challenge people wanted to see come back, so it may get stuffed into the “retired” category.

For a long time, I had been opposed to starting a challenge like Not So Berry, and I don’t know why. After starting this one on my channel, I discovered that I found it a bit too easy.. And I have ended up adding goals to the 10 original generations in the challenge rules, and adding 20+ generations after those to include the rest of the packs that the original rules don’t cover. See my version of the challenge here to check it out. I have had a lot of fun with this challenge despite being reluctant to start it. We have flown through the generations, and are currently in between gen five (Plum) and gen six (Orange). This challenge is in the rotation right after Timeline Adventure.

This was started on-screen after the Dream Home Decorator pack came out, and I had a lot of fun playing around with it. However, being that it was a save made just to explore a new pack’s potential, I doubt I will be bringing this save back into the rotation. Unless something drastic changes, count this challenge as “retired”.

This is a playthrough that I started with the intention of playing all the way through until the kids grew up and moved out and started families. However, life happened, and I just didn't have time on Saturdays to play it anymore. Will it make a comeback? Perhaps. I'd like it to! That being said - it started with my "Engles" family (if you watch my Simlit section, they were in there), and I added another occult kid due to more occults being added.. and eventually, a Servo showed up to help out. We started with the mom, a dog, and six kids.. so yes, the household is overstuffed with Eva the servo. The kids started as toddlers, and are now teens. A really fun playthrough that I took the chance to try out a whole bunch of realism mods for.

This is a challenge I have always wanted to play (as far back as Sims 2!), but have never had the guts to try. So, after the Chaos Wheel Challenge and having so much fun involving chat into the game play, I decided that - for my halloween 2021 stream, I would create an interactive version of the Asylum Challenge and play it on screen. It was SO much fun that it became a channel staple and is played every Wednesday night. I will be creating a solo version of this challenge for everyone else to play, as well, so keep your eye out for that to happen fairly soon. The above shot is the Asylum I originally built for this challenge in particular, but it turned out it was laggy and had all sorts of “zooming” camera issues due to the ward being on the third floor. I have since built a new one. I have also built a “Halfway House” for Phase two of the challenge, and will be building a starter home for the Sims to move to for phase 3 (which will be played differently from the rest of the challenge). More info on that once we finish testing and writing the Phase Two rules.

I am including this challenge in the list because it has, indeed, been played largely on camera. This is a challenge I am currently writing by request from a community member, who is helping me test and brainstorm rules (the current rules are here). Basically, it’s a challenge based on the Cottage Living pack, and farming. You start your Sim with the bare minimum to survive, and - through maxing skills, making money, and doing errands (among other things) - you slowly unlock new things. Unlockables include crops, the ability to build an outhouse, then a cabin, and eventually turning it into a luxurious mansion. I would not call this an easy challenge by any means, but it’s a fun one, none-the-less. I do not play this one in the rotation of challenges: rather, I play this when I need a break from the other challenges, or I am at a point in the writing where I need help.

This is the beta test of the Interactive Asylum Challenge I wrote. After this season, I will consider the rules complete. (They aren't now) This season started with 16 contenders all made by community members, and competing for real life prizes. At the time of this writing, we are in Phase 3, and have 5 sims left competing for the win. The picture is the new asylum that I have built specifically for this challenge. There is also a phase 2 halfway house, as well as using one of my other builds for a phase 3 shell for all the sims that made it that far.
