By 2022, my shell challenges were well and truly established. Each and every one has a little bit of a puzzle to solve – whether it be a theme, or a story to come up with, or the shell itself being some sort of a puzzle.. I try to keep you all on your toes. Whenever possible, I attempt to do my own shell challenges, so I’m not just putting out challenges I can’t or don’t want to do. (Although there are definitely months that I don’t have the inspiration right then – or the time – to complete my own shell challenges.) 2022 also marks the third Advent shell challenge – which has also become a bit of a tradition. This year, it was a big Victorian Dollhouse to decorate (it’s at the bottom of the page, if you’re interested in it). That all being said, enjoy – whether you’re here out of curiosity, or just looking for inspiration for your next build!

Reminder: ANY shell of mine that you complete and I tour on stream will get you 5 bonus Daily Teas (currency used for getting real stickers in the mail!). I tour any shell of mine for free on any stream day that I’m playing Sims 4!

Thrall Shell 9 – Dino Mania – Download

#thrallshell9 Due: February 2 for tours. Dino must remain visible, although you may change his or her color. Add whatever you’d like to the shell, including other buildings, as long as dino remains visible. No basements, or changing wall heights. Lot needs to be commercial, and include fun things for children. Pools & fountains ok. Dino must be used in some way as a building (i.e. at least part must be furnished). Have Fun!!

Thrall Shell 10 – Under This Old Roof Shell – Download

Rules: All EXISTING walls, roofs, floors, stairs, ladder, & fences must STAY in place, but styles can be changed. The first floor exterior walls are entirely up to you, as well as adding a floor plan. No adding decks, extra floor pieces, or changing wall height. Fences, half walls, spandrels & trim are all okay (you will need to add stairs to get past the foundation). Gazebo & house may be moved. Must be a residential build. Rules: Interior floorplan is up to you, as well as windows & doors. Wall height may be changed. Do not remove or change exterior walls, the pool, roofing, decks, foundations, stairs, or platforms. (Styles can be changed, though.) Also, fountain and columns may be removed or changed. No CC or pack restrictions. Pool has been tested and works as-is. Due: April 6th #thrallshell11

Version 1 – for those with Island Living. Rules: No adding or changing walls anywhere above ground, you can add walls to the first basement floor, but do not expand out into the pool. UNDERNEATH THE POOL – you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT. Expand, subtract, build, change, design, whatever. The main part of your house MUST be underneath the pool, not in the first basement floor or above ground. Also: this MUST be residential. Make this home your own little Paradise! #thrallshell13

Who’s in the garage apartment, and why? Who are these sims? Do they love their home, or do they hate it? Is it clean, or messy? Standard Shell Rules apply. No changing exterior walls EXCEPT the second basement floor & below. Adding foundations or decks ok. Interior floorplan is up to you. MUST use all interior space, including tower and basement. Do not add a floor to the first basement level, you must use a ladder or a long staircase to get past it.
