Bloopers, Glitches, Cute and Funny Screenshots

We’ve all had them. Those moments where something happens in your sims game that you just have to break out in laughter. Whether it’s a really funny glitch, or just something random that is really funny. Going through my screenshots and memories, I found quite a few pictures of moments like these, and thought it would be great fun to collect all of them in a post, adding to it as more of them happen. With each of them, I’ll add a little description of what’s going on, or how it happened. Anyway, there’s really very little introductions needed for these, so.. browse and Enjoy! Everyone can always use a good chuckle! (Some of these are actually a series of pictures, but that only makes them better.)

On one of my random saves, I had a shower that a teenager had booby-trapped.. and of course, it broke. So when the parent went to repair it.. it certainly looked a bit risky to me!

At a park in Falconvale (my first NiF challenge), grilling up some hotdogs, and along comes this Unicorn. It was quite literally the very first unicorn I’d seen in the game.. and my first thought was “Hm… I can Haz .. hotdogs? .. hehe. first unicorn in game.. and he… er.. that’s a she, no beard… he wants dinner. Go figure.”

Grumpy Unicorn? Seems she’s complaining about my fishing skills…

And, finally, to cap the whole incident off… “Ahahahaha! Told you, Unicorn wanted noms!”

What Unicorn wants.. Unicorn gets. What else was I to do but feed her??

While playing my Spectres challenge, Katie got shocked while trying to invent something.. only the game seems to have glitched on graphics, and she looks like she has a ghostly top hat on…

On yet another random save.. it’s baby time…..

QUADS??? Ummmm.. now mommy needs a full-time nanny. I didn’t even know sims could HAVE quads in sims 3!!

While trying to get some of the seasons achieves for tanning or burning.. this picture struck me as funny. This chick most definitely needs a tan. Comfy chairs, sun, and VERY white legs. Of note: she didn’t manage to get either tan OR burnt. Now if only I could have that luck in real life!

“The Venue” … While testing a church/community center lot I made for Sunset Valley, I had a couple get married. It made for some lovely screenshots…

and the perfect wedding. that its, until..

… the worst honeymoon ever… Uh-oh… Not five sim minutes after the vows were exchanged, the bridegroom runs to the back of the church.. and is promptly abducted by aliens. So, I reloaded the save to try again.

The second time, he got interrupted cutting the cake…

The Perfect Wedding take 3… and the third while trying to do the wedding dance.

REALLY???? At this point, I just gave up and kept playing. However, ten hours later, he ended up with an alien baby, too!! (I was testing while on my Gardener challenge save. I kept the tot, but disqualified her from being an heir.. lol) Strangely, all three abductions were from the EXACT same spot on the lot, too!! Luckily, it seems it was just bad luck, because nobody’s been abducted from that venue in my games since then. (And I did get some lovely venue pictures!)

Not really a blooper, but funny none-the-less. During my Falcon Apocalypse challenge, my founder built himself a Grim Reaper snowman. hehe!!

Also during the Apocalypse save.. founder manages to burn their one meal of the day. A very sad moment, and one of the WORST possible things that could happen in an early Apocalypse game. Again, not a blooper.. but.. lol!

“Where’s Nemo?” When the University mascot showed up to deliver the aptitude tests bucket in my Gardener challenge save, apparently he was also looking for Nemo.. 🙂

Also during the Gardener save, during the second generation’s trip to university, I discovered that even zombies can play pool!

While playing one of my favorite random saves, the Hill family Paint Farm, this screenshot happened. I laughed so hard I nearly cried. All I could think was that I needed a horsey bumper sticker that said “If you can see the tail hairs, you’re too close!”

“Caught in the act!” … Also on the Hill Paint Farm, a policeman was petting a horse who had just peed at the Equestrian Center lot.. and my first thought was… “Hey! You’re under arrest! No peeing on public property!”

Probably the best glitch I’ve had in game yet. During an Island Paradise game (I honestly don’t remember which one), a couple boated up to the beach at full speed.. and right past the water line. The boat skidded all the way up to the bushes, and set there for a good twenty minutes sim time before it finally vanished. The people got off as normal and went about their business!

Fairies.. under the sea! ….During another Island Paradise game, this time one of the ones I’m using to work on achieves, I ran into a fairy diving in full scuba gear. Wish you could see the wings a little bit better in the screenshot, they were very obvious in game – but being that they were yellow made it a bit harder to see with the watery wave effects. It really looked funny, though!

What is it about zombies that always makes their antics seem funnier, just because they’re a zombie? Who knows.. but these zombies were shambling about in full zombie-mode walk.. while carrying their umbrellas. The screenshot doesn’t really convey the hilarity.. so if you have both Seasons and Supernatural, keep your own eye out in game for these treasures. Sure to make you crack up!

“Yay! I’m a plant!” For some reason, I have to chuckle every time my Plantsim photosynthesizes. She spins herself down into a hole in the ground, then thinks happy planty-sun thoughts for an hour before digging herself back out of the ground.

“Must be Spooky Day Again.” While playing my Starlight Shores Fairy Singer game (for achieves), I had a cow plant show up at my door. No, really. 🙂 Some teen in a costume trick-or treating.. haha! I didn’t know there were cow plant costumes! How come my sims always dress up as hot dogs???

“Busted on Horseback!” While playing my Syun favorite save, Danika was out riding after curfew.. and a cop chased her and her horse down with his cop car to arrest her. He then waited patiently while she dismounted, and promptly stuck her in the back of the paddy wagon. Left the poor horse standing by himself in the now.. left to run home in time to see her get grounded by dad!
