Okay, I know, I added a fourth list. But let’s be fair, there are times when you want to throw out the real world and use some real imagination. This list does that. There’s better mermaids, witches, fairies, DRAGONS… yep. Sims can have that!

Sometimes you want your Sims game to really FEEL like real life. And let’s be honest, Sims isn’t so good at that on its own. From better Bill and Financial systems, to HVAC systems, or educational and health overhauls, these mods are there for you!

These are mods I find helpful in keeping myself immersed into the historical setting I often use when I’m playing Sims. Some mods are more intensive than others, and some are set up for certain time periods, but all will help with immersion.

These are mods designed for storytellers, obviously. I use these a lot when it comes to getting my blog stories “just right.” If you’re into telling stories, and want your pictures to express the right emotions, this is the list to check.

So, after the popularity of my Mod lists from my YouTube files, I decided I ought to set up a set of Curated Mod lists, with links included. I cannot guarantee that all the mods will be working, but they were at the time I wrote the lists (so be aware and check the mods for updates before you decide to use them!) To that end, I highly recommend Scarlet’s Mod list – they are very good at letting people know when mods are working or not.

All that being said, initially I want to set up three specific mod lists – One for Historical Mods, one for Realism mods, and one for Storytelling mods. Eventually, I may add more lists, but those are the three I really wanted to focus on to start with.

I am a 47 year old American wife, mother, and gamer. I’ve lived in the Midwest most of my life, and enjoy it for the changing seasons. My favorite movie is Labyrinth, my favorite game is Sims 4, and I have tattoos related to both. My favorite colors are purple, red, and green. When I’m not playing games (which is rare) I also enjoy reading and crafting. I’m also an animal lover, and have had many types of pets over the years. Currently, I have a dog named Cassie who is a Jack Russel / Beagle mix and five young fancy rats (all of whom are rescues). I run this Sims 4 Blog where I post screenshots and stories about the different challenges I play. Also here are the Sims 4 challenges I've written, and a place for me to store all the Sims 4 knowledge I've gotten over the years. I am also a Sims 4/variety streamer on Twitch for my mental health, fun, and to meet new people. I am also in the EA Creator Network and an Ubisoft Partner, which is a dream come true! I look forward to meeting you!
