Crystals

To collect Crystals, you’ll again need to dig at the rocks around towns. You could get a MySims Trophy, or a fossil, metal, or crystal. After the Cats & Dogs update, these spawn spots are shared by a pile of dirt that dogs can interact with, further reducing your chances of getting the item you’re after. From my experience, the easiest way to get this whole collection is to get it while at the Science Center from Get to Work (either with a travel mod or as a Scientist). Otherwise, expect to spend a while on this one. Also, the two Get to Work pack Crystals and the two Jungle Adventure Crystals are not required for the collection completion, and must be found on Sixam (a “secret” lot), and in Selvadorada, respectively.

All Crystals give a +3 to Energizing Decor when placed.

*Crystals can also be refined and placed in a Celestial Crown (Get Famous) to have varying effects on sims. (listed in the table below)

	Peach	$14	Common	This small stone is delicate in size with a demure, peachy-pink color. No wonder it is the embodiment of innocence. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal recharges the Bladder need. (Thirst for Vampires, Water for Plant Sims.)
	Quartz	$29	Common	Quartz was once believed to be ice crystals that would never melt, but now we know it’s made of silicon-oxygen tetrahedra. Duh. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal clears a Sim’s mind of Uncomfortable energies.
	Rose	$19	Common	Named for its pale pink color, Rose quartz is the stone of unconditional love and exudes a soothing sense of tranquility. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal clears a Sim’s mind of Anger energies.
	Ruby	$29	Common	Sought after for their brilliant red hues, rubies represent the passion of love. Decorating your slippers with them do not allow you to teleport. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal recharges the Hygiene need.

	Simanite	$58	Uncommon	Simanite is one of the few stones with a true silver color. It has been used for everything from alchemy to utensil polishing. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal periodically makes other sims like you more and recharges the Social need.
	Jet	$134	Rare	Because of its somber coloring Jet is commonly used in mourning jewelry, but it isn’t commonly known that Jet is actually fossilized wood! *When slotted in the crown, this crystal boosts Whim Satisfaction Point gain and recharges all needs (except energy).
	Jonquilyst	$139	Rare	Jonquilyst is like a glittering drop of sunshine! Its bright, yellow color radiates cheerfulness. *When slotted into the crown, this crystal boosts Charisma (Social for Children) skill gain and recharges all needs (except energy).
	Plumbite	$154	Rare	While Plumbites are found in varying shades from red to yellow to green, it’s most popular hue is a deep, bright green. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal boosts Athletic (Motor for Children) skill gain and recharges all needs (except energy).
	Rainborz	$144	Rare	Rainborz is a rare and unusual gemstone that is multi-colored, but predominantly red. And strangely, is it frequently found near rainbows! *When slotted in the crown, this crystal periodically makes nearby Sims happy and recharges all needs (except energy).
	Amazonite	$82	Uncommon	A softer gemstone which really shows off its beautiful color when polished. Sometimes found in the waters of long winding rivers. *When slotted into the crown, this crystal boosts Archaeology (Mental for Children) skill gain and recharges all needs (except Hunger).
	Crandestine	$91	Uncommon	Crandestine is an otherworldly red gemstone like nothing ever seen on earth. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal boosts Painting/Writing (Creativity for children) skill gain and also recharges all needs (except energy).
	Nitelite	$91	Uncommon	Nitelite is a fluorescent green crystal that is so bright it burns to look directly at it. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal gives a temporary Night Owl trait and recharges all needs (except energy).
	Alexandrite	$149	Rare	This rare gem has a dramatic color shift from day to night. Alexandrite is sometimes described as an emerald by day and a ruby by night. *When slotted in the crown, this crystal gives a temporary Mystical Sensing Trait and recharges the Hunger need.

Metals

To collect Metals, you’ll again need to dig at the rocks around towns. You could get a MySims Trophy, or a fossil, metal, or crystal. All Metals give a + 2-3 bonus to Decor when placed.

	Ozinold	$20	Common	Ozinold is a dense, heavy metal accidentally discovered by Harold Ozinold and subsequently named after him due to their similar characteristics.
	Phozonite	$12	Common	Phozonite is a yellow-tinted metal that has good electrical and thermal conductivity, but is famous for its unique atom arrangements.
	Plathinium	$16	Common	Plathinium is a common transition metal that has a variety of uses since it doesn’t react to most chemicals.
	Punium	$24	Common	Punium is a metal just like any other, but it is habitually overlooked and no one takes it seriously. Perhaps because of its name?
	Pyrite	$8	Common	Pyrite has a metallic sheen and a brassy-yellow color, but you’d have to be a fool to mistake this for real gold!
	Ultranium	$20	Common	Ultranium is a metal with a low melting point that was once used as a pigment to dye almost anything purple!
	Crytunium	$60	Uncommon	Crytunium is highly brittle; making it frustratingly hard to work with as it breaks apart easily and is not commonly found.
	Death Metal	$48	Uncommon	Death Metal is remarkably resistant to corrosion and is speculated to be the material used in the Grim Reaper’s scythe.
	Flamingonium	$60	Uncommon	Flamingonium is a startling shade of pink and is the go-to metal for creating shiny lawn ornaments.
	Ironyum	$64	Uncommon	Ironyum is a metal not many understand as it often reacts in the opposite manner of what you would expect.
	Simtanium	$72	Uncommon	Simtanium has a shiny, reflective green appearance and is highly conductive so it is used in the production of computer parts like circuit boards.
	Socialite	$64	Uncommon	Socialite is a precious metal that is highly sought after to make attractive and extremely valuable jewelry.
	Furium	$112	Rare	Furium is highly reactive and flammable compared to other metals. It is prone to outbursts and tarnishes easily.
	Literalite	$100	Rare	Literalite is a hard-to-find purple metal that little is known about, and currently its properties are taken at face value.
	Romantium	$120	Rare	Romantium is a blush-colored metal that is highly reactive chemically; you might even consider it one of the most amorous metals.
	Sadnum	$124	Rare	Sadnum is a soft, malleable metal that is typically found in a blue state and is as rare as a unicorn’s tear.
	Blutonium	$72	Uncommon	Blutonium is an element found on Sixam. Like a deep ocean abyss, it is hauntingly beautiful.
	Solarium	$72	Uncommon	Solarium is a beautiful orange element created by the gravitational collapse of a star.

MySims Trophies

To collect MySims Trophies, you’ll need to dig at the rocks around towns. You are guaranteed a MySims Trophy box with a random MySim in it if you dig using a Treasure Map (which is also findable by digging in these spots) – otherwise, you have a chance at getting a fossil, metal, or crystal as well. After the Cats & Dogs update, these spawn spots are shared by a pile of dirt that dogs can interact with, further reducing your chances of getting the item you’re after. From my experience, MySims trophies are an easier collection to acquire than either metals, crystals, or fossils… but not by much. Good luck!

All MySims Trophies give a +3 to Playful Decor when placed.

Frogs

To collect frogs, you will be checking the little logs with moss on them that spawn around the worlds, or the little water-pump spawn spots. In addition to those spots, you can also find frogs in ponds, and at the waterfall in Sulani.

(When placed, all Frogs give Environment +3 for Decorated Moodlets)

Any frog with a type (the rows) and an attribute (columns) combined will have a chance of being either one of the two original frogs you bred, or the new one that the chart indicates. Be patient, this WILL take you quite a while unless you’re extraordinarily lucky!
