Notes: Still testing to see how a schedule with time off for blogging is going to work, but I have to say – it’s already starting to combat the burnout I have been feeling coming on lately. As you can see, Tuesday’s Blog day has me working on stream-able stuff, so I’ll be doing five streams instead of the four from last week. Also! I am extending my hours streamed on my four stream days to five instead of four. We’ll see how that goes.
Also: this schedule obviously doesn’t reflect my second channel, which I will likely be streaming on each evening (https://twitch.tv/thrallsnightoff/) .. Currently working on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood!
Fun Stuff:
Community Challenge! –
Sims Murder Party: 8 Rainbow sims competing to see who lives the longest. Chat redeems to add either helpful or murderous items to my build, as well as other chaos redeems. This idea comes from BritishSimerTime‘s stream – and as a chat participant.. it was SO much fun.
Coming Soon… My new Homes for Gnomes Village project: Another Community Challenge that, once funded This will be starting in November, and will NOT be a community challenge. Rather, it will be an interactive Shell challenge COLLAB where I will give everyone participating (people who sign up via a Google Doc I will set up) a 15 by 15 outdoor room with a shell on it to decorate based on prompts I will be providing. Themes will be based on the gnomes in Sims 4, and the shells will be built by me to match. I will spin a wheel for each participant live on stream to see which gnome and shell you get, and your job will be to decorate it in the month following. Lastly, I will put together all builds into a huge downloadable Gnome Village lot (or lots if we have enough participants) and we will schedule a tour of all the builds! Again, you’ll have a full month to put your build together as a participant, and they will all be “tiny homes”, so this should not be too time-consuming or difficult for anyone. Depending on how this works (or doesn’t), I may do more challenges based on this general idea – like maybe a Christmas Village in December?

Current Shell Challenge: Due Nov 3rd
Notes: Yes, this is a major change, I’m cutting back to four days a week streaming Sims. This is a TEST to see how it works out, and if it helps combat the burnout I have been feeling coming on lately. However, it will also give me some “creative time” that I have been sorely missing, and allow me to get some blogging stories out. On days that I’m working on a stream-able blog story, I will hop online and show you all what I have going on in the background, but the two I picked this week just aren’t really stream-able.
Also: this schedule obviously doesn’t reflect my second channel, which I will likely be streaming on each evening (https://twitch.tv/thrallsnightoff/) .. Currently working on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood!
Fun Stuff:
Community Challenges! – I have all three of my possible challenges up and ready for funding (i.e. wasting your points on… ) Feel free to fund whichever you want first, or keep things wild and interesting by funding all three each day. Basically, you’re able to spend a maximum of 2k channel points per stream day on each of these challenges.

Fun Stuff:
First off, I want to thank everyone who came to the first ever community night! We had a lot of fun! In fact, we had so much fun, I now plan to make this a monthly thing. Expect to see a Community Games stream every last Saturday of the month.
Notice on my Youtube: I officially have videos scheduled for the next week, and more that are sorted and ready to upload to continue the trend. I know several of you are anxious to see the old VODs from when I started streaming, so I’m working on getting them actually going up there instead of just sitting around on my hard drive.
*OF NOTE: I am thinking about considering one or both of the first two challenges on this list as complete and putting them on the schedule in the coming month. This would mean your points would be getting refunded… Let me know what you think about this idea in the Announcements channel on my Discord.
Chat dictates my build – Once this is funded, I will schedule a special stream where chat gets to vote on every little thing about my build. Type, size, packs used, themes, and more!

Looking ahead to the week after, I’m planning to schedule our first ever Community Game Night on EITHER August 25th (the wed evening stream), or in the afternoon/evening on August 28th (Saturday). Putting up a poll on discord to decide which day it will be. Also: yes, I realize that the community challenge for the Community Game Night wasn’t completed all the way. I decided since it’s taking so long for all three, I am going to refund all points for it to you all and consider it completed. If you’re paying close attention, you’ll notice that there’s a new third Community Challenge added in, with a lower point target.

In Search of Streamers to Collaborate with: I am also hunting for more streamers who are willing to collaborate on Twitch stream challenges: For more info, contact me on Twitch or Discord.
Inside/Outside Shell Challenges: This involves you building a set of rooms and decorating them, me building a shell and all the landscaping, and then switching said builds. I would then put together your rooms into a house and landscape it, and you would decorate the shell I made.
Chaos Wheel Challenges: This involves doing a multi stream (or just both of us streaming at the same time) with both streamers coming up with their own wheel of “bad things” to do to the other person’s game and build. We start with a sim we’ve created and then play “Rags to Riches” style, with the “goal” being building a full house and having a family. Each of us will get to pick our own things to put on the wheel. At the end of stream, both streamers upload their builds and families and wonder where it all went wrong. (LOL)
Blind Building Challenges: Again, a same-time stream, only this time it’s all about building. One person is building “blind”, without being able to see the other person’s screen. The other streamer builds a build, and directs their partner to build the same build with just verbal directions. At the end of stream, both partners upload their builds and laugh about how different they are.

Current Shell Challenge:
There is also another puzzle-type shell/build-a-long up, feel free to jump in! Rules are as follows: Download lot from this hashtag on the gallery: #picknicbasket – Designed as a choose your own size shell. The only piece you MUST use is the rounded deck, but it can be merged with other pieces so long as the outside rounded edge is still clearly visible. Your prompt: Build a home for picnicking with a large deck area (covered or not) outside. Choose at least 6 rooms from the given 25 (plus deck), & build a home or venue. Adding walls & changing to spandrel fence or half wall is ok. Must include a water feature. Tours: Aug 14 (a Saturday, starting at 1PM)
Wednesday, July 21st (5-9 PM EST): Catch up stream or Building. If either Drifter or Master Simmer generations aren’t done, this is when I’ll finish them. If those are done, I will probably put the time into building.
Thursday, July 22nd (1-5 PM EST):Special Stream Alert – First Cottage Living Play Stream!! The plan is to go back to my Stream “Hard Mode” Decades Challenge, which is patiently waiting in the 1900s for their farm to get some animals. However, I reserve the right to make a new sim and just enjoy the new pack for this day if MCCC isn’t ready for me to play my Decades quite yet.
Friday, July 23rd (1-5 PM EST): By this point, MCCC should be ready, so I’ll be playing my “Hard Mode” Decades Challenge.
Saturday, July 24th (1-9 PM EST): More Decades Challenge Play.
Sunday, July 25th: No stream
*As you can see, everything is moved around with the 22nd of July as the “finish” date for a lot of things. As of the 22nd, the new pack is coming out, and I will also be stopping my current blog rotation of stories, and switching to “Rotation Two”: my Decades Challenge War, and the Diversity Experiment. Expect the week after this to go more or less back to “normal”.
Chat dictates my build – Once this is funded, I will schedule a special stream where chat gets to vote on every little thing about my build. Type, size, packs used, themes, and more!
Community Games Night – Once funded, I schedule a special game-night stream where we all get together to play party games like Jackbox, Gartic Phone, and others. Can’t promise it’ll stay safe for work! *grin*
Put Thrall on the Chaos Wheel – Once funded, I schedule a special gameplay stream where chat redeems wheel spins to add chaos. Wheel will be designed by me with lots of chaotic things to put my sims through. (if you’re interested in what kind of things will be on the wheel, I’ll be using this reddit post as my inspiration: https://www.reddit.com/r/thesims/comments/7gxyl7/random_sim_events_list/)
After these three are done, the next challenge to be added is: My new Homes for Gnomes Village project: Another Community Challenge that, once funded, will be an interactive Shell challenge and special build a long stream (starting in August at the earliest) where I will give everyone participating (whether there for the build a long or just signed up via the Google Doc I will set up) a 15 by 15 outdoor room with a shell on it to decorate based on prompts I will be providing. Themes will be based on the base game gnomes in Sims 4, and the shells will be built by me to match. Depending on how this works (or doesn’t), I may do more challenges based on this general idea.

SimNaNo: This started July 1st, (and finishes on the 31st) and is the main reason for my main streaming challenges being missing from the streaming schedule. I want to get my current blog rotation finished at the very latest before July 22nd so I can move to my Decades rotation with the new pack.

I am a 47 year old American wife, mother, and gamer. I’ve lived in the Midwest most of my life, and enjoy it for the changing seasons. My favorite movie is Labyrinth, my favorite game is Sims 4, and I have tattoos related to both. My favorite colors are purple, red, and green. When I’m not playing games (which is rare) I also enjoy reading and crafting. I’m also an animal lover, and have had many types of pets over the years. Currently, I have a dog named Cassie who is a Jack Russel / Beagle mix and five young fancy rats (all of whom are rescues). I run this Sims 4 Blog where I post screenshots and stories about the different challenges I play. Also here are the Sims 4 challenges I've written, and a place for me to store all the Sims 4 knowledge I've gotten over the years. I am also a Sims 4/variety streamer on Twitch for my mental health, fun, and to meet new people. I am also in the EA Creator Network and an Ubisoft Partner, which is a dream come true! I look forward to meeting you!
