With the Launch of my One Sim project officially over this past weekend, I didn’t have time to do any of my other blog stories today, so I’ll get back to them next week. I do apologize, but there’s been so much going on lately!
Monday, May 3th: 1 PM – 5 PM EST: Hoarder’s House Challenge
Tuesday, May 4th: 1 PM – 5 PM EST: Hoarder’s House Challenge
Wednesday, May 5th: 5 PM – 9 PM EST: Full Humpty Dumpty Shell tours – including the home and shell it came from, and the build I did for it. Will also be debuting the “Moving Walls” shell challenge!!
Thursday, May 6th: 1 PM – 5 PM EST: Timeline Adventure Challenge, Medieval Gen 5
Friday, May 7th: 1 PM – 5 PM EST: Timeline Adventure Challenge, Medieval Gen 5
Saturday, May 8th: 1 PM – 5 PM EST: Timeline Adventure Challenge, Medieval Gen 5
I am considering starting a short Wed afternoon stream for building (on weeks I don’t have my chiropractor appointment), but that will probably vary from week to week.
Also: Remember I have a bunch of fun channel point redemptions now, including one that lets you torture me with a house shell of your design for me to turn into a house on stream, and one that changes the challenge I play Thursday – Saturday!
Monday 1PM – 5PM EST – Hoarder’s House Challenge (Making the sims and getting started.)
Tuesday 1PM – 5PM EST – Hoarder’s House Challenge (continuing play)
Wednesday 5PM – 9PM EST – RainbowSins Challenge – starting the Orange Gluttony generation!
Thursday 1PM – 5PM EST – To Be Decided: if I can get my Medieval builds done by this day, I’ll start on the Medieval Gen 5 of my Timeline Adventure Challenge. If the builds aren’t done, I’ll probably finish them on stream.
Friday 1PM – 5PM EST – Timeline Adventure Challenge – Medieval Gen 5 Gameplay
Saturday 1PM – 5PM EST – Timeline Adventure Challenge – Medieval Gen 5 Gameplay
Notes: This will be a new thing. Hoarder’s Challenge on Monday – Tuesday until I get it done, then back to whichever challenge I’m on for Thursday – Saturday. Wednesday will remain the odd man out because it’s an evening stream, and I’ll be doing RainbowSins or shell tours (on the first Wed of each month) then. I am hoping to get my Medieval builds done by Thursday, but I can’t guarantee it, because I still have two lots to finish at this time.
Good news! I’m trying something new this week, and starting this week, I’ll be setting aside my Sundays to play and write my blog posts up… then will be scheduling what I get done throughout the following week. I haven’t figured out the exact posting schedule, but I’m thinking it’ll be 3 or 4 posts per week in whatever rotation I’m currently playing. (For reference, I’m on Rotation One. Which means – Tails of Sulani Mermaid Legacy, Master Simmer, and my Drifter Challenge are going to get their next gens finished before I move to the next rotation.) If I get three posts, it’ll be Monday / Wednesday / Friday; if four, it’ll be Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday.
Monday 1PM – 5PM EST – Not So Berry Grey Gen
Tuesday 1PM – 5PM EST – Not So Berry Grey Gen
Wednesday 5PM – 9 PM EST – Introducing my April Shell Challenge: The Humpty Dumpty Shell (Will be due May 5th) – then RainbowSin Wrath Gen
Thursday 1PM – 5PM EST – How to Play & Blog Sim Challenges & Stories with WordPress (requested stream)
Friday 1PM – 5PM EST – Not So Berry Grey Gen
Saturday 1PM – 5PM EST – Not so Berry Grey Gen
Note: I will switch to Timeline Adventure Medieval Gen if we finish Grey Gen and get Plum ready, but I doubt we’ll finish Grey this week.
Streaming on my Twitch channel is now my main focus in life. I have found something that I really love doing, and through it, I have made so many new friends – many of whom I am very sure will be lifetime connections. As I said on the Thrall LIVE page, I stream for my mental health, increasing my confidence in myself, and reducing my social anxiety. Anything else I get out of it is just a bonus to me! Most of my streams focus on Sims 4 content, but I do play other games, and some of those games will be making their way onto my stream this coming year. (For more about this, see the Thrall’s Game Awards page!)
(more…)I’m still around, and I will be back to doing stuff soon, I hope. The last couple months I’ve been putting a lot of time and energy into getting my twitch stream going, only to have the whole thing derailed because my son needs me. On November 11, he was in a middle of the night car wreck, and his dominant shoulder was badly dislocated, leaving him unable to do a whole lot for himself for an absolute minimum of six weeks. My husband and I have been spending a lot of time over at his apartment, keeping his spirits up and helping him out. Which explains where I’ve been. – and for that matter, where I will be for the next three weeks-ish. As soon as I can, I will be getting back to full-time streaming on my twitch channel, https://www.twitch.tv/illusorythrall, as well as working in some time on my blogged challenges here. If you’ve been observant, you’ve noticed that my header graphic has changed, as well as my avatar on my socials. Shortly before the accident, my son had finally finished my signature graphic, and I am high-key in love with it.

The character on my shoulder is based on my first tattoo, and the plumbob I’m holding is based on my second. The puppy paw on the shirt is from a tattoo I had done for a rescue animal charity drive, and I love it. I would link my son’s socials so anyone interested in similar art for them could contact him, but I will wait until he is actually able to draw again. (With the shoulder injury, he can’t even think of picking up a pencil or stylus, unfortunately!)
On other notes, I have unearthed my Twitter account, https://twitter.com/IllusoryThrall and I post whenever I have time to go live on twitch there. It’s also linked in to this blog, and I’m going to try to remember to post there more often. The other way to get in contact with me, and/or see what’s going on is my discord. https://discord.gg/XweHZmQKVX – I’m still in the process of setting it up, but please feel free to join and say hi! (And let me know if the link doesn’t work. I think it should, but I’m not 100% on that.) I will also start posting updates to my challenge rules on that discord, and will respond to questions there. Obviously, things will probably not get really going until this whole car accident injury thing goes away and son is able to get back to all the things he loves doing. I’m hoping it’ll be around the beginning of January that I will be able to start posting regularly again, but I will definitely announce on twitter, here, and discord when my twitter schedule re-starts and I can start posting here again, too.
Hope this note finds everyone else doing well, and please be patient with me, I will be coming back, but family most definitely comes first for me!
