Chapter 1.1 | Chapter 1.3
And we’re back. I was not in a mood to write a post yesterday, so this got pushed to today. The first thing I do upon loading the save is take some time to contemplate making Aleki a Spellcaster. It’ll (hopefully) give us occult points – and he DID come in with the wish to do the potions aspiration.
Obviously, my decision shows in the above post. Spellcaster here we come.
Aleki: “Here’s your motes. No idea what you want with them, but they’re all here..”
He then makes friends with the practical magic guy, gets his first potion recipe.. and checks for tomes and ingredients at the shops.
Sure, Aleki, just poke it with a stick. That’ll work.
That’s probably the better way to make a potion.
Time for some magical training.
Oh… joy. Now Aleki is cursed. And I have no way of cleansing it yet. Sigh.
This is what I’ve been doing – pretty much non-stop. Lots of homework. It makes this house incredibly boring to play. (Which is part of the reason I moved Aleki in!)
Hard at work. Still.
Wyld clearly doesn’t care that he got cursed…. again. And just blithely walks past him on her way home from class.
Aleki learning a potion recipe. Outside. At night. With no lights other than the magical ones. As you do?
… And then I got an achievement. While Wyld was peeing… Confused, I check my notifications.
Wait… WHAT?!
.. I know how she feels. I’m a little bit dazed myself now. I’ve never seen a sim actually WIN the lotto. Well, I guess we won’t have to worry about bills for a while!
Since it’s nearly weekend, I decide that it’s time to get started on kiddos. We still have one week of college left, but I think I can get away with doing four classes while Aleki takes care of the kid. Provided we don’t get twins. *crosses fingers*
Love day!
Curses. Again. Poor guy. He’s really not very good at the potion thing, is he?
It’s that time. I’m hoping for a boy, because I have a nice boy’s name already picked out. What do I get? A girl. Of course – it’s my luck. I name her Wixom. Upon getting home, I realize there’s no way I have any intentions to do this whole name game in a Tiny House.. so I open up build mode and get to work.
Here’s the upstairs…
And.. the downstairs. I end up deciding the kitchen needs expansion, and change things before long.
He finally has learned the de-cursing potion, and uses the sample he was given to get rid of curses. Spoiler: it doesn’t last long.
… That seems safe..? .. Why don’t they have food processors in this game?
It’s that time. And we got Fussy. Joy!
She’s adorable. … And.. with another weekend (and graduation) coming on..
.. We get started on the next nooboo.
Playtime. She’s so cute, guys, I can’t even!
With all the things that keep breaking, Wyld’s repair skills are doing pretty well.
Halfway up the stairs, poor Aleki ages up. And I realize that I completely forgot his birthday. Oops. Note that “fussy” Wixom is happily taking care of her own needs. Not very fussy, IMO. With the new baby coming, I decide the house needs another upgrade. A few hours later.. I realize I went completely overboard.. and will have a half-empty upstairs until we have more kids. But such is life. Here’s how the shell turned out:
I like it. The swimming gazebo and pier are especially cool, to me, at least.
Toddler room moved downstairs, and playroom added. Not 100% sure what the other room will be – either a bedroom or a skilling room. I fenced the porch in and put some nice toddler toys out there, too. Note the pile of toys I have in the toddler’s bedroom. All get put away, but I still think the amount of “extra” toys I bought may be a little excessive. *chuckles* That lottery win has gone to my head!
Aleki manages to finish his aspiration. It actually didn’t take all that long, considering he’s done most the parenting, too.
Um… Aleki… 1, why do you need a book to build on a kid’s toy… and 2.. you DO realize I put that there for the kids, right?
Yay!!! My first sim through sims 4 University.
So, of course, I send her to graduation.
Wait, we get fireworks?? Awesome!
Celebrating with the others before the ceremony starts.
They threw their hats. I missed getting a picture of it, but they did. Which was cool. Definitely unexpected, too.
We get a picture for graduating. Awesome!
Getting our first job. Not that we NEED one.. but hey. We start at level 7!!
Partially because I managed to get her to graduate with honors.
Now that school is done, I can concentrate more on Wixom.
Whee!!!
Oh my gosh. She’s just too cute. I’ve never really used the kiddie pool before now.. but this will definitely not be the last time I use it.
Time for another girl?? I have a great name!
… I should have known. Oh well, Yariq it is.
Oh, no, why are we changing into the hospital gown again? 🙁 So annoying. Anyway. We got two babies done.. and we have a decent house.. and lots of money. Not bad for just over two weeks of playing. See you next time for more babies!

Welcome/Contents/Links | Chapter 1.2
Welcome to the challenge! My first decision was which sim to go with, and I ended up choosing my simself. +15 points to start with.
Here’s my traits and aspiration. The next thing: picking a world and building a home. I picked the Sapphire Shores lot in Sulani, partially, because I love the look of this world, and partially because I’d seriously love to live on a beach. Excluding the hurricanes and storms, of course.
Being that the lot itself was 11k, I elect to build a Tiny Home. It’s the mid-size one.. and the only lot trait I have on it is Oceanic Paradise. For now. That may change.
Finally. Time to start skilling. My plan is to send her off to college first, to get the boosts to her job.. and also because I’ve never completed sims 4 uni yet on any character. Since I’m trying to get her into a distinguished degree, I start working immediately on her charisma and research and debate.
The welcome committee shows up, and we decide that we’d better say hello. They could be bringing food, after all. (Spoiler: They brought Kava instead.)
Getting some more charisma points and getting to know the neighbors.
Oh, come on, Wyld. Life isn’t THAT bad, is it??
A huge storm moves in overnight, partially because I started in the “Fall” season.
And.. by morning.. the bed is broken. Lovely.
Since we now have charisma and research and debate at level four, we head to the library to get to level four writing. Then I can apply and should get distinguished without a problem.
The Humor and Hijinks festival interrupts us, and we go there just to get some extra funds. Definitely my favorite festival for getting more money, although since I don’t really want her getting much mischief skill, I go Jokers side, which is less money. We still win, of course, and happily sell all the fireworks and head home.
… To fix the bed.
The next day, we skip the Willow Creek library (the librarian is a girl).. and try Windenburg. Score. This is Aleki, and I think he’s adorable. Definitely possible spouse material. Provided I don’t decide to go for baby occults.
We promptly “steal” his computer, and work on writing and making a friend.
Wait.. we need the Inspired moodlet. Time to get one.
While working on writing, Harvestfest pops up.. and I learn if you start a holiday at a community lot, the gnomes show up where-ever you are. Interesting. Does bunny gnome like salad??
Yes! .. At which point, I discover that you can also SELL the gnomes at community lots. Woot! I’m as happy as Wyld is.
Wyld needs fun. So we invite Aleki over and get to romancing.
Yay for insta-full fun bar.
… And Aleki immediately decides to go for a lengthy ocean swim? OOkay. Fine.
The neighbors show up with food. Works for me. Less Wyld has to cook on her own.
I finally get enough parts and skill to upgrade the bed to be less breakable. Maybe now it won’t kill her….?
Another possible spouse. He turns out to be studying to be a Villain, though, and we decide to pass.
Homework. That’s what our days are FILLED with now. I’m taking a full course load, and aiming for as high of grades as I possibly can.
Presentation. Gotta do it to pass, kiddo.
The bed tries to kill her. I get very worried for a moment, but it lets her back out. She’s just freaked out for a few hours, so once again, we’re sleeping on the lounge chair on the deck. (That’s apparently what I put it there for.)
Winterfest! We get absolutely nothing useful. But at least she’s happy now.
Father Winter shows up. And gives us upgrade parts. Thanks??
Our first Vampire sighting. In another thirty minutes, Vlad shows up as well, which I find hilarious. Two vamps in one night.
I discover that building a sand castle gives a LOT of fun. Which she in in constant need of because of classes.
Term paper. At least you only ever have to do one of those per term.
My first straight A’s!
New Years. We make a resolution to write a book. (Spoiler: we get it done in time, easily.)
The next semester’s homework.
I finally decide that we ought to move in Aleki. So we get hitched.
And with his 20k, we upgrade the house a little bit. She will no longer have to go to the library to work on her writing and do computer work. And there’s enough room for Aleki to get into bed. And a TV. .. And a new rug. I was busy. The house is still (barely) in the mid size Tiny home realm, too, so we’ll still get those bonuses.
Meanwhile, I decide that’s enough play for one session.

**ON HIATUS**
I couldn’t resist. With what seems like everyone in the boolprop discord server starting Name Games, I broke and started one myself. I chose to start with my Simself, and on an expensive lot.. so we’ll see how this goes. Wish me luck!
What’s a name game, you ask? Well, you start with a founder. Whatever their name is, you have to have that many kiddos. So my founder, Wyld – needs four kids. One each starting with each letter of her name. Multiples only count as one letter. The goal is to get through the whole alphabet with kids with names starting with each letter in the shortest amount of time you possibly can. It’s.. interesting.
This challenge is currently on hiatus, because my priorities lie in my other challenge attempts for now. It’s also the challenge in which I learned that it is absolutely possible to win the lottery with your sim. How? .. I won it. (LOL) Eventually, I will be picking up this family again.
