First order of business as soon as I load up the game: get some satisfaction points on Kody so I can get him a youth potion. He wants to be disliked by people.. so we find people to fight. Including the above vampire. Funny thing is… he won.
Where’s everyone else?
Mom’s teaching toddler…
Break time for dad.. and lunch time.
Working on her aspiration.. since I just figured out I can’t age her up early in this challenge.
Upgraded the house. Because I really hate it. Spoiler: upgrading didn’t make me like it anymore.
Kody gets his potion. Then .. I reread the rules.. again. and figured out I made a major mistake. I let them hire a gardener… and MOST their money has been from the garden…. and they haven’t been doing most the work. Feels very cheaty and wrong…. and since I’m absolutely done with this house.. I decide to make new founders and start over. So “Playing Hooky” Becomes the “Bell Boom”… and meet our new founders.
They were made via stories, but apparently I was too excited to get into game that I forgot to take pictures of their story results. Kaden started out unemployed, but with an aspiration that requires a job… Kamilla starts with a job, and me wanting to make her into the stay at home parent.
We bulldoze the largest lot in Brindleton Bay, drop their funds to 1800 for the “legacy start” and promptly load into a VERY rainy world. Kamilla quits her job…
… And Kaden gets his. Then I quickly buy them some stuff for living on the lawn.
The welcome wagon is all playing in the rain.. while Kaden and Kamilla stand around and chat. Successful party? I will leave that to you to decide.
As a cat lover, Kamilla needs a pet.. so we pick three cats to pick between.
This loveable furrball named Monty wins our heart, and a place in the family.
Kamilla bonds with the kitten, while Kaden wonders where all the pet stuff suddenly came from.
Time for that baby!!
Kaden complains about the pregnancy as most Sim fathers do.. but in this picture it looks like he’s complaining to the cat.
The very beginnings of a house.
Sadly, only the greenhouse and the bathroom have roofs. *laughs* .. It had changed seasons, so I needed to shelter the plants to keep getting produce from them for money.
Researching in the dark. While Monty keeps watch, apparently.
Baby time!!
And… it’s twin girls! Welcome Blair and Blaine. I’m going to try to do the “Not the Bs” mini challenge, so all the kids will have “B” names. This should be interesting.
Just in time for the toddlers to age up.. we get pregnancy #2 on the way.
Flying baby alert!!
Inquisitive. Not bad.
And she’s ADORABLE!
Independent. Also okay.
Grown-up Monty supervises while the second twin grows up.. also so cute. I love this family already.
Blair playing with the pink bear.
While Blaine gets potty trained. It always takes too much time to potty train.. especially with toddlers. But it must be done.
Paying our first bills. With mostly gardening money. And no, I didn’t hire a gardener this time. *wink* I suppose that’s as good a place to stop as any. So we’ll see you next time!

Totally understand restarting the challenge. Blair and Blaine are adorable and these guys already seem more fun.
Thanks! I agree, I’m already having more fun with this family than the last!
Oh my goodness those girls are adorable already! I hope you have more fun with this family and the house this time around. I get how a house can make you hate playing…been there.
