Welcome back to my ISBI. The heir has been picked, and Alan won. So we have some more play time before our heir ages up, and one to kick out. 🙂 Oh yeah, I also forgot to add 10 to grades for Alan and Andrew’s high school A’s. So my points are currently at 20 total.

Forcing Andrew to garden. This poor garden is just always hurting for attention.

Trying to get Aimee some skill points for school.

Since she needs gardening for work.. we’ll make her help too.

Aimee’s new room.. since I forgot to upgrade it for her last time.

Well, I suppose that’s as good a reason as any to stop gardening…

More logic training for Aimee.

Then, I decide to use what little funds I have saved to expand the house a little bit. Added a nursery and started adding a bedroom for Maeve for after she passes the torch. As you can see, I ran out of funds partway through. LOL.

Also pulled some career rewards out of the household inventory. The house is still very basic, but it works.

Poor Alan is tense because he’s in a distant phase, and Andrew is following him everywhere. It’s really funny.

Don’t you dare start a fire! (spoiler: he didn’t)

Aimee likes to write in the journal I gave her.

Maeve desperately hacking funds into the bank so I can finish the house…

The boys finally get into a tiff. Probably about Andrew following Alan around. 🙂

.. Or that works, too. Too bad his playing is still so bad it makes everyone tense.

Later that night.. Dominic breaks the shower, then tries to clean it up. Smart.

.. Leaving a mess for Maeve to clean up, of course.

Aimee watching some pre-school TV.

An impromptu family meeting? Apparently Maeve was busy.

Alan is thoroughly tired of Andrew’s poor music skill. Andrew on the other hand, seems to think he’s getting better.

Then, Aimee surprises me by picking up the guitar for a while.

Another meeting?

Aha! There’s Maeve. What’s she cooking?

A birthday cake! Guess who’s all grown up. (And that’s Alan’s homework. I’m forever dragging it back to his inventory. Everyone else keeps theirs.. he.. leaves his everywhere.)

Bro, huh? And botanist? He’ll love that since he hates gardening!

I get him his job before he leaves the house…

And.. bye to Andrew!

Alan comes home with his final promotion for his teen career. (You can see Maeve struggling in the garden in the background.)

.. Maybe he’ll take his homework with him this time.

It’s Winterfest! Their first one as a family. And the main reason I enlarged the living room – to have room for the tree!

Christmas nap time…

Presents! Nobody got anything particularly good or bad.

Ham dinner. No idea where Maeve is.

Father Winter’s here! Only person who gets a chance to talk to him is Maeve, everyone else was already in bed.

Wonder what he’s mad at? … I see broken plumbing in Maeve’s future.

Breakfast. He looks so cute with full cheeks. Looks like a chipmunk. 😀

These two are so very social. I never have to worry about their social need.

The finished upstairs. Now there’s room for toddlers. Remember, I started this before toddlers were out, so there’s never been a toddler in this house! So that’s the first tub/shower combo I’ve needed to add.

She just needs one more skill point for an A promotion in school, so we get working on that.

Alan gets so bored, he decides to garden all by himself. I’m ok with this!

Maeve’s Birthday wish. I debate retiring her, but I’ll save that.. we still need money.

Maeve toasts the end of a generation. Well, really, it’s New Year’s Eve.. but that, too.

Party! And yes, that’s Alan’s homework. Again.

Doctor??! *sigh* I don’t think I’ve played that since Get to Work first came out. This could be interesting. And when I played it, I didn’t get very far.

Post-makeover. Bell bottoms and whatever that shirt was didn’t lend itself to looking like a doctor. Have to look the part for the patients to take you seriously, there, Alan. And he’s officially our torch-holder now.. which means that next time we see the Irish, they’ll be in Gen 2. 😀
