So.. it’s been a long while. And two new towns released since I last played this family…. so that’s interesting. I got the families set to played so they wouldn’t go anywhere, and the town tours and indexes set up. Don’t have the family introductions done yet, but that’s on my to-do list. More in the mood to actually play, so I’m taking advantage of it while I can. Anyway.. welcome back to the Orphanage. Let’s get started on finishing the week so I can move on.
While the kids are getting ready for school (all in great shape because of the loading other families thing… so nothing needed doing.).. Maggie harvests her flowers.
More flowers.
Since I missed the “work at home?” question due to loading time, Maggie has to actually go to work. I’m not sure this is gardener-appropriate clothing, though. Something about the fishnet stockings puts where she’s actually going into question.
While everyone is gone, Mr. Renaissance sim works on reading his last two books for his first aspiration milestone.
… That completed, he heads for the chess set to work on his logic skill.
… This looks familiar. Doesn’t it?
Everyone’s home from school.. so it’s homework (and housework) party time.
Then, it’s time to play. Trinity and Ximena on the jungle gym. Another cloudy day, but at least it’s not raining.
Nearly time for dinner, so Seth is cooking while Maggie works on her gardening.
Bristol challenges Chase to a game of chess.
Um.. Seth….??? What in the world are you DOING?!? Streaking and housework with a million kids in the house. Sigh.
I finally decide to buy the expensive game console for our resident Geek, Chase.
Another game of chess. Again, I don’t know who won.
Late dinner for Maggie and Katarina.
… And bedtime chores for Seth. Something’s always broken!!
Wednesday night.. and all is calm.
Thursday morning, and it’s time for Harvestfest. Yep. That means everyone stays home for the day. Yikes. going to be a looong day.
Starting out with more repairs. As usual.
Cooking a Turkey meal. It turned out “poor”, unfortunately, but at least it’s food.
Kent, my little helper.. takes it upon himself to set the table. Then complains about smelling.
Maggie researching plants.
Finally. It’s a beautiful day, and Bristol and Trinity take full advantage of the sunlight to play outside.
Katarina and Chase working on their Social skill.
Kent doing his extra credit. On his own.
Trinity and Bristol are now best of friends.. which completes Bristol’s milestone, although Trinity still need social skill for hers.
My attempt to get Ximena focused to get her homework aspiration done with. I forget about her, though, and I have to save it for another day because she runs out of focus while doing her homework.
Kent and Bristol chatting. Social need is not a problem in this house, that’s for sure.
Maggie and Seth working on their relationship. They don’t have much time to themselves, but I try to fit some in when I can!
Trinity trying to make a random friend for her aspiration.
…. Seth insists on lighting a fire despite all the kids in the house. Is that REALLY a smart idea??
Trinity cloudgazing. Spoiler alert: her new “friend” leaves before she can finish becoming a “friend”.
I catch Kent cleaning up the dishes all by himself in a dark corner of the house.
Thursday night bedtime hijinks. I make Trinity clean up her own mess.
… Our first bear mood swing. Spoiler: it’s not the last.
Kent is up in the middle of the night cleaning up the laundry.
… Only to make another pile of clothes as he showers to get ready for school.
… And here is where I realize I simply have too many pictures to do this in two posts… and I split this post up again.
